Since 2016, the Center for Intellectual History and the Center for Historical Studies at El Colegio de México have organized the CONCEPTA Iberoamérica Summer School in Conceptual History, in which 500 students from Latin America, Europe, and the United States, as well as more than 100 professors, have participated.  

It aims to introduce participants to key theoretical and methodological perspectives in coneptual historyhow history and change over time can be interpreted through the study of languages and concepts. Aimed at advanced graduate students (master's and doctoral), professors, and researchers in history, political science, law, economics, sociology, anthropology, literature, arts, linguistics, and philosophy, the CONCEPTA Iberoamérica Summer School brings together international faculty for ten working days at the Center for Historical Studies at El Colegio de México. reconocidos profesores y profesorasActivities include introductory courses, specialized seminars, conferences, and a workshop for the presentation and critique of participants' projects. It is a unique space in Latin America, with high quantity and quality of teaching staff and attendees, and rigorous, pluralistic, and transnational academic discussion on conceptual history, its methodologies, limits, and challenges. Each year, around 50 participants are selected. Se trata de una experiencia académica única por la cantidad y calidad del plantel docente y de los asistentes. 

The CONCEPTA Ibero-American Summer School was created from an international network formed by the leading European and Latin American universities and centers of intellectual history: El Colegio de México, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP), Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Center for Intellectual History-National University of Quilmes, Universidad del País Vasco, Universidad Iberoamericana, Universidad de Chile, the conceptual history networks Iberconceptos and CONCEPTA International Research School in Conceptual History and Political Thought..
