Dhan Zunino Singh
(Henderson, Buenos Aires, 1975)

Dhan Zunino Singh (B.A., Sociology, History and Criticism of Architecture and Urbanism, University of Buenos Aires; M.A., Sociology of Culture, IDAES, Universidad Nacional de San Martín; PhD, History, Institute of Historical Research, University of London) is an Independent researcher at CONICET, a member of the Center for Intellectual History and IESCT, and professor of History and Sociology at the Universidad Nacional de Quilmes. He teaches graduate courses at UNQ, UBA-TUB, and UNSAM.

Se formó como sociólogo y se especializó en Historia y Crítica de la Arquitectura y el Urbanismo (ambos títulos de la Universidad de Buenos Aires). Realizó su Maestría en Sociología de la Cultura en el IDAES, Universidad Nacional de San Martín, y se doctoró en historia en el Institute of Historical Research, University of London.

He is director of the Space, Technology, and Culture Laboratory (CHI-IESCT, UNQ) and associate editor of the Journal of Transport History..

Within the framework of urban cultural history, his research focuses on the relationship between space, society, technologies, and mobility, investigating how mobilities are conceived, produced, and experienced. His work has been published in various national and international journals. He is co-author of Infraestructura y Estado (UNQ, 2024), and co-editor of the book Nuevos Términos clave de los estudios de movilidad en América Latina (Teseo, 2023), Pensar las infraestructuras en Latinoamérica (Teseo, 2021) and Términos clave de los estudios de movilidad en América Latina (Biblos, 2018).
