The thesis was awarded a National Secretariat of Culture prize as part of the \u201cPublish your thesis\u201d competition (2019) and published as a book by Prohistoria. A PhD candidate with a minor in Social Sciences (Universidad Nacional de Quilmes), she was a CONICET doctoral fellow (2014-2019). She is a member of the Laboratory of Space, Technology, and Culture at the Universidad Nacional de Quilmes.<br \/>She currently teaches \u201cThe Material Turn in Cultural History\u201dwith Dhan Zunino Singh in the Master's Program in Intellectual History at the UNQ. She has taught History of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, in the Architecture Program at the Universidad de La Matanza, and various subjects in the area of History and Theory at the School of Architecture of the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.<br \/>Dur\u00e1n\u2019s doctoral research explores how architecture was linked to the field of visual arts and industrial production during the first half of the 20th century in Argentina, a period in which the discipline underwent an intense process of renewal.
